About Santai Psychology

Get to know the people and philosophy behind Santai Psychology, and what guides the way we work with clients in Banora Point and beyond.

Our philosophy

A space where you can pause, breathe, and feel accepted exactly as you are

While life cannot always be free from challenges, we believe everyone deserves a space where they can slow down, feel heard, and explore what’s going on without judgement.
Our approach is grounded in authenticity, compassion, and respect — we value genuine human connection and recognise that therapy works best when people feel truly safe and understood.
Rather than taking an expert-driven approach, we work alongside you — flexible, neuroaffirming, and genuinely responsive to what you need.

Meet Nicole Sutton

Nicole is a warm, authentic, and down-to-earth psychologist who works with adolescents and adults experiencing a range of mental health and life challenges. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered.
Nicole has experience working across private practice and not-for-profit settings, and brings over 20 years of insight from within NSW emergency services. This background provides a distinctive understanding of high-pressure environments, workplace stress, trauma exposure, and the unique challenges faced by first responders and helping professionals. Nicole is also a Disaster Response Network Psychologist registered with the APS which is dedicated to supporting frontline and emergency workers.
Nicole takes a compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to therapy — drawing on interventions tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals.
Nicole supports clients experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, depression, life transitions, and neurodivergent-related challenges.
Our approach

There is no one-size-fits-all way to experience the world

Therapy is never a preset programme here. We take time to understand who you are and build something that genuinely fits your life.

To foster emotional and mental wellbeing by providing therapy grounded in warmth, trust, and authenticity.

To provide compassionate, evidence-based psychological support that helps individuals improve their mental wellbeing, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
